The BECE school selection portal for 2023 candidates will be active for candidates to select their choices of school starting on the 3rd to the 24th of October 2023.
The School Selection Portal would be opened by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) for both BECE Schools and Private Candidates to enable them to select their schools online for 2023 Placement.
The exercise will commence from 3rd to 24th October 2023.
In order to do the exercise faster and more efficiently, Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education are to form teams of ICT Teachers/Data Entry Officers to support the Examination Coordinators and Headteachers to do the entries of candidates’ choices.
All BECE graduates are supposed to take part in the activity in order for them to get placed in their schools.
After opening the portal, candidates should follow the procedure on the selection portal in order to do the right thing.
This will help avoid errors in the entries from the schools.
Candidates and parents/guardians are to be invited to confirm the correctness of their choices before finalization.
Private BECE candidates are to visit this portal HERE to select their Second Cycle Schools using their index Number and Date of birth login ID and password respectively.
Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education are to ensure effective supervision and monitoring for the successful completion of the exercise.
