Mid-Semester Break for SHS/SHTS – GES Announced
The management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) announced on their social media handles, mid-semester break for SHS/SHTS for the awareness of the general public.
This is a one-week break for all students and teachers. This will enable them to relax, refresh and prepare themselves to continue their academic activities.
Mid-Semester Break for SHS/SHTS – GES Announced
Below is the content of the release by the Ghana Education Service:
Management wishes to remind all Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools of the scheduled mid semester break from 2nd to 9th June 2023.
While the break should be observed, individual schools who wish to have their form 3 students remain in school to continue preparations for the upcoming WASSCE are permitted to do so.
Additionally Heads are to ensure they accommodate all other students who may wish to remain in school during the period.
Period of the Mid-Semester Break
Students will break on the 2nd of June 2023 and return to school on the 9th of June 2023.
Can I Stay on Campus During Mid-Semester Break?
The GES has mentioned that all students who may wish to stay on campus within the period of the break should be allowed to do so. Accommodation will be prepared per the directive of the Ghana Education Service.
