New Date for KNUST Affiliate Colleges End of Semester Exams
The colleges of education affiliated with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology level 200 and 300 students will sit for their examinations before colleges go down.
This decision was made after a consultative meeting held among Principals, SRC Executives, and the management of the Faculty of Educational Studies for all colleges of education affiliated with KNUST.
In order not to disrupt the current academic calendar for colleges of education affiliated with KNUST and other consideration, it has become necessary for teacher trainees to write the examination amid the strike action.
New Date for KNUST Affiliate Colleges End of Semester Exams
According to the release from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the examination will be taken between these periods:
- Monday 12th to Friday 16th December 2022 for level 200
- Monday 19th to Friday 23rd December 200 for level 300
It has been 21 days since CETAG declared their indefinite strike action asking for a better condition of service from the government. Due to the strike action, most teacher trainees have gone to their various homes for one or more reasons.
As it stands now, CETAG has not reached conducive, appealing and pleasing agreement with the government in order for them to call off the strike.
The question here is, who will invigilate the examination to be taken? Who will be there to monitor the conduct of the examination?
All academic activities that are supposed to be done by CETAG have ceased and hence invigilation too. Find below the full release from the university.
