New Dates for Colleges Affiliated With UEW Re-Sit Examination

The management of ITECPD has released new dates for colleges affiliated with UEW re-sit examination and supplementary too.

Following the release of the colleges of education results for colleges affiliated with UEW for the 2021/2022 academic year for all levels, the decision to resit the examination has been taken by ITECPD.

The management wishes to inform all teacher trainees who may have faults with their results that require them to re-write the examination to start the necessary preparations and process.

A letter dated 22nd March 2023 from ITECPD that addresses all colleges of education principals affiliated with UEW discloses the dates for the examination and fees to be paid and dates which has now been changed.

Categories of Students to Write Re-Sit or Supplementary Examination

  • Candidates who failed their end-of-semester courses are to register for the failed courses, pay the Re-Sit fees and write the examination on the designated dates for the examination.
  • Candidates who for one reason or another, especially medical and approved reasons, could not write the End of Semester Examinations will have to register to write the outstanding papers as supplementary.
  • Candidates writing supplementary examinations would have to pay all outstanding fees owed to the college before they could register.

Resit Examination Fees

The fee for registering for the resit examination is Two Hundred and Thirty Ghana cedis (GH₵230.00) for all courses per semester.

Supplementary Examination Fees

Those who for one or two reasons could not write the examination (maybe for health reasons or others) are not going to pay for the examination.

This group of people should register for the supplementary examination and QA unit of their colleges.

New Dates for Colleges Affiliated With UEW Re-Sit Examination

This is the schedule for the Resit and Supplementary examinations for the 2022/2023 academic year:

  • 1st Semester Courses – 24th to 28th April 2023 (For level 100, 200, and 300 courses)
  • 2nd Semester Courses – 17th to 21st April 2023 (Level 100 courses only)
