2024 Teacher Licensure Examination Eligibility
All Prospective candidates who hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) are eligible to apply for March 2024 GTLE
The candidates are to apply online at exams.ntc.gov.gh and complete the application form for the licensure examination.

Below are the fees prospective candidates are required to pay for registration and indexing.
- Fresh candidates are required to pay GHC 450.00 to register for the examination.
- Candidates have to pay an amount of GHC 50 for indexing
- Registering One Paper as a resit candidate, you will pay an amount of GHC 150
- Candidate registering for resit of two papers GHC 210
- Resitting for three papers, candidates will pay an amount of GHC 385

- Payment can be made at any branch of Prudential Bank Ltd nationwide or with Mobile money Payment can be made through the shortcode *772*51# across all networks
- For banking payment, candidates must notify the bank as fresh students, re-sitting one, two, or three papers.
How To Register For 2024 NTC Teacher Licensure Examination
- Take the Pin and Serial No. from the Bank after payment.
- Log onto exams.ntc.gov.gh
- Enter your e-voucher Serial no. and Pin
- Fill in all the fields and remember to upload your passport-size photograph
- NOTE: NTC will not accept any request for a change of photograph after the examination.
- Review the information provided and submit.
- Print a Summary of the inputs made and examination regulations.
Deadline for Registration
All registration must be completed on or before 20th February 2024. There will not be extension of the deadline.
Date for the GTLE March 2024
The papers would be written as follows;
- General Professional Knowledge – 17th March 2024
- Related Pedagogy – 18th March 2023
- Subject Based Paper – 19th March 2024

Conducts of the Examination
Under the new GTLE reform, three Papers will be written. Thus,
- General Paper which will cover Literacy and Numeracy
- Subject Base Paper which will test candidates on their Major learnt in University or College, and
- Pedagogy Paper which test candidates on teaching methodology and teaching in general.
Related pedagogy and subject based papers will solely be objectives.
General paper will comprise essay and objectives, especially in the literacy aspect, candidates will have to express themselves.
