Why the Delay in Release of College of Education Admission List?
It is very unfortunate that colleges of education have not released their admission lists for the 2022/2023 academic year so that applicants will start preparation for school.
The application portal was activated about 5 months ago and applications were submitted online by interested applicants who want to attend colleges of education.
The portal was due to close on the 31st of October 2022 so the admission process will start right after the closure. But it is very unfortunate to note that application processes have not started in the colleges of education.
Normally, the first batch of the admission list should be released in the month of November and the second (the last) should be released in December.
The academic year is expected to begin in January 2023 for both fresh and continuing students and by this time, some applicants should have had their admission messages.
Why the Delay in Release of College of Education Admission List?
The cause of the delay of the release may be associated with the strike action that CETAG and CENTSAG embarked with sees CENTSAG suspended theirs.
In our recent publication before the strike action, we disclosed that the admission list will be released on the 21st of November which was the first batch list. And this will be followed by the second batch admission list. Please use the link HERE for reference.
Also, the application portal for application was reactivated again after 31st October 2022 and it is still active. Under normal circumstances, the application portal should be inactive before the admission process starts.
Interested applicants who still want to apply for admission into the colleges of education can still apply as the portal is active again.

At Eduscholarz, it is our hope that the admission list will soon be out as the non-teaching staff have suspended their strike action. This is because the office that is in charge of the admission process is now open to working.
